Hermann Rolfus (24 May 1821 – 27 October 1896) was a German Roman Catholic priest and educator. He grew up in Freiburg, studied theology and philology at the University of Freiburg from 1840 to 1843, and was ordained on 31 August 1844. After brief service in several places, he became curate at Thiengen in 1851, then curate-in-charge at Reiselfingen in 1855 and parish priest there in 1861. He later served as parish priest at Reuthe near Freiburg (1867), Sasbach (1875), and Bühl (1892). In 1867 Freiburg’s theological faculty awarded him the Doctor of Theology.

Rolfus contributed to Catholic education by editing, with Adolf Pfister, the Real-Encyclopädie des Erziehungs- und Unterrichtswesens nach katholischen Principien (four volumes, 1863–1866; second edition 1872–74). A fifth volume was published by Rolfus alone in 1884. He also edited the Suddeutsches katholisches Schulwochenblatt with Pfister from 1861 to 1867. He wrote many other works on pedagogy, politics, apologetics, asceticism, and books for young people. He died at Bühl, near Offenburg.
