Agathyllus (Ancient Greek: Ἀγάθυλλος) was an ancient Greek elegiac poet from Arcadia. Dionysius of Halicarnassus quotes him when discussing the history of Aeneas and the founding of Rome. According to his story, Agathyllus came into Arcadia and, in Nesus, married his two daughters, Codone and Anthemone; he then hastened to the Hesperian lands, where he begot Romulus. Some of his other verses are preserved by Dionysius, who notes that Agathyllus's accounts largely agree with those of Cephalon.
