List of Brazilian Air Force units
List of Brazilian Air Force units shows the active air and ground units of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB, Força Aérea Brasileira).
The FAB used to be organized into Air Forces (1st for operational training, 2nd for maritime patrol and rotary wing, 3rd for air combat, and 5th for air transport) and Air Regions (1st through 7th). In 2017, the reorganization merged those units into 12 Wings (Alas; initially 15). Based in São Paulo Air Base, the plan was adjusted after the 4th Air Transport Squadron (ETA) was disbanded in January 2018. São Paulo remains an active air base under COMGAP. Deployment Air Bases (Bases de Desdobramento) are assigned to SEFA.
