Wiggans Hills

Wiggans Hills are a small group of exposed rock hills in Antarctica. They are about 2 nautical miles (3.7 km) long and rise to around 700 meters. The hills lie on the west side of the end of Gordon Glacier and form the northern edge of La Grange Nunataks in the Shackleton Range.

They were photographed from the air by the U.S. Navy in 1967 and surveyed by the British Antarctic Survey from 1968 to 1971. In 1971, the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them Wiggans Hills after Thomas H. Wiggans, a BAS general assistant at Halley Station from 1968 to 1970 who worked in the area for two seasons.
