Tanzer 25 is a Canadian 25-foot recreational keelboat designed by Joubert-Nivelt and built in 1986 by Tanzer Industries in Dorion, Quebec (the year Tanzer went bankrupt). It has a fibreglass hull, a transom-hung rudder, and a fractional sloop rig. The boat measures LOA 25.25 ft, LWL 21.83 ft, beam 9.58 ft, and a standard fixed fin keel with a 4.70 ft draft (a shoal-draft option of 2.82 ft was available). It displaces about 4,200 lb and carries 1,650 lb of ballast. A small 6–10 hp motor is typically used for docking.

Sail areas are mainsail 179.14 sq ft and jib/genoa 147.07 sq ft, for a total of 326.20 sq ft. The Tanzer 25 can sleep four: a V-berth in the bow and a double berth in the aft cabin on the port side. The galley is on the port side near the companionway with a two-burner stove and sink, and there is a navigation station on the starboard side. The head is aft of the companionway on the starboard side, and cabin headroom is about 69 inches.

PHRF racing handicap is around 180 (range 174–189), with a hull speed near 6.26 knots. After Tanzer closed, the design was produced by other builders, including Canadian Yacht Builders, Challenger Yachts, and Mirage Yachts.
