Lesquerella
Lesquerella is the former name of a group of flowering plants in the mustard family (Brassicaceae). Recent classifications have shown that Lesquerella is not distinct from the genus Physaria, and most former Lesquerella species are now placed in Physaria. Since 2002, some southeastern United States species have been moved to the genus Paysonia. Today, Lesquerella is no longer used for any species and is considered defunct. The name honors the 19th-century botanist Leo Lesquereux (1805–1889).
