Aaron L. Weisman (born May 1965) is an American lawyer who served as the United States Attorney for the District of Rhode Island from January 2019 to February 2021. A Republican, he was appointed by President Donald Trump and confirmed by the Senate. He earned a B.A. from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Before becoming U.S. Attorney, Weisman worked at Jones Associates in Providence and served as a special assistant attorney general in the criminal appeals unit. He spent many years at the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office (1993–2019) as Assistant Attorney General and Chief of the criminal appeals unit, arguing hundreds of felony cases before the Rhode Island Supreme Court and overseeing the post-conviction relief unit. He also appeared in federal court, including before the U.S. Supreme Court, to defend Rhode Island’s interest in the finality of convictions.

Weisman was sworn in as U.S. Attorney on January 14, 2019, succeeding Peter Neronha. On February 8, 2021, he was asked to resign along with many other Trump-era U.S. Attorneys and left the post on February 28, 2021. He was succeeded by Zachary A. Cunha.
