Kerry Brown (February 3, 1958 – September 10, 2009) was a Canadian professional wrestler best known for his work in Stampede Wrestling in the 1980s under his real name and as Rick Valentine in Puerto Rico, Montreal, and the Maritimes. He began wrestling in 1979 in Winnipeg, then worked in Kansas City in 1980 before joining Stampede Wrestling in Calgary, where he became a popular tag team competitor with Duke Myers. The duo held the Stampede International Tag Team Championship three times (1981, 1983, 1989). Brown also captured singles titles, including the AGPW United States Heavyweight Championship twice and the Stampede North American Heavyweight Championship in 1985. In WWC in Puerto Rico, he wrestled as Rick Valentine and won the WWC World Tag Team Championship with Lance Idol in 1990, as well as the WWC Caribbean Tag Team Championship with Idol, Embry, and Gran Mendoza. He wrestled in Lutte Internationale in Montreal with Sailor White. Later in his career he returned to Canada, wrestling in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, and in 2003–2004 teamed with Jason Gagne as The Dog Pound for the CWF and Premier Championship Wrestling. His final match came in January 2009 in Winnipeg against Danny Duggan. He was the nephew of wrestler Bulldog Bob Brown and was sometimes billed as his son. Brown died on September 10, 2009, in Winnipeg from liver failure at age 51.
