David Penry-Davey
Sir David Herbert Penry-Davey (16 May 1942 – 10 October 2015) was a judge of the High Court of England and Wales. He studied at Hastings Grammar School and King’s College London, earning an LLB in 1964. He was called to the Bar at Inner Temple in 1965. He became a Crown Court recorder in 1986, a Queen’s Counsel in 1988, and was appointed a judge of the High Court in 1997, serving in the Queen’s Bench Division. He died on 10 October 2015 at the age of 73.
