Judy Nelson
Judy Hill Nelson is an American author. She is best known for a romance she had with tennis star Martina Navratilova from 1983 to 1991, while she was married, which led to a palimony lawsuit against Navratilova. Nelson wrote two books about her experiences: Love Match: Nelson vs. Navratilova and Choices: My Journey After Leaving My Husband for Martina and a Lesbian Life, in which she discusses coming out as a lesbian in the mid-1980s. Nelson is the mother of two sons.
