4th Krajina Division (Yugoslav Partisans)

The 4th Krajina Division was a Yugoslav Partisan infantry unit formed on 9 November 1942 in Glamočko polje. At formation it included 4,371 soldiers in three brigades: the 2nd Krajina Brigade, the 5th Krajina Brigade, and the 6th Krajina Brigade. The division was commanded by Josip Mažar Šoša, with Milinko Kušić as political commissar.

It mainly operated in western and central Bosnia. The division belonged to the 1st Bosnian Corps until 11 May 1943, when it became part of the 2nd Bosnian Corps. The 4th Krajina Division took heavy losses during Case White (the Axis offensive in 1943).

Active: 1942–1945.
