Joel Nilsson
Joel Nilsson, full name Per Håkan Joel Nilsson, is a Swedish footballer who plays as a right wing-back or right midfielder for Norwegian club Kongsvinger. He was born on 11 July 1994 and is 1.80 m tall.
Youth and early career
- Started playing at Pukaviks IF, then joined Mjällby AIF’s youth system at age 16.
Senior career
- Kristianstads FF (2014–2015): 44 appearances, 11 goals.
- Mjällby AIF (2016–2021): 156 appearances, 29 goals. Helped Mjällby win Ettan in 2018 and gain promotion to Superettan in 2019.
- Hammarby IF (2022–2023): 38 appearances, 5 goals. Had a strong debut season in 2022, finishing with 5 goals in the last six league games and helping the team to third place; in 2023 he played more sparingly with 16 league appearances.
- Kongsvinger (2024–): Joined in March 2024 on a two-year contract. (52 appearances, 6 goals as of November 2025.)

- He attracted interest from several Swedish clubs before moving to Hammarby in 2022.
