Jacob Peter Josefson (born 2 March 1991) is a Swedish ice hockey center who plays for Djurgårdens IF in the SHL. He is 6 ft 1 in tall, weighs 190 lb, and shoots left. He began skating at age two and playing hockey at five, joining Djurgården’s youth program at ten. He made his senior debut for Djurgården in 2008 and soon stood out in Sweden’s top league.

Josefson was drafted 20th overall by the New Jersey Devils in 2009. He signed with the Devils in 2010 and played with them until 2017, then spent the 2017–18 season with the Buffalo Sabres. He returned to Djurgården in 2018 and enjoyed strong seasons, helping the team reach the 2019 finals and earning the league’s MVP award. Injuries limited him in 2019–20 and especially in 2020–21 and 2021–22, and he retired after the 2021–22 season. In 2025 he made a comeback with Djurgården.

Internationally, Josefson represented Sweden at junior levels, winning a silver medal at the 2009 World Junior Championships and a bronze at the 2010 World Junior Championships. He is the youngest of three brothers, and his parents are Annika and Peter Josefson.
