Raúl Spoerer Carmona (19 May 1908 – 15 March 1985) was a Chilean naval engineer, businessman and liberal politician. Born in Concepción, he studied at the Chilean Navy Engineering School and served in the Navy until 1932. After leaving the Navy, he was Chief Engineer and Administrator of Altos Hornos de Corral (1932–1939). From 1939 he managed the Concepción Gas Company, later becoming Director and General Manager. He also ran a poultry farm and an estate in Bulnes. He married Marta Urrutia de la Sotta in 1932 and they had four children. Spoerer was active in local business groups and public life, serving as Provincial Council President for Concepción for the Liberal Party. He was elected Deputy for the 17th Departmental Grouping (Concepción, Tomé, Talcahuano, Coronel and Yumbel) and served from 1957 to 1961, sitting on the Finance Commission. He died in Santiago on 15 March 1985, at age 76.
