Igo Kantor
Igo Kantor (c. 1930 – October 15, 2019) was an American film producer and post-production executive. He was born in Vienna, Austria, and grew up in Lisbon. He studied at UCLA and was married to Enid Kantor; they had three children—a total of two sons and one daughter.
Kantor worked as an editor on Edward D. Wood Jr.’s Jail Bait (1954). In the early 1960s he started the post-production company Synchrofilm. He also produced the films Kingdom of the Spiders and Mutant.
In 1971 he closed Synchrofilm and joined Warner Bros., where he supervised post-production music on The Exorcist. He earned Emmy nominations for three consecutive years for his work on the Bob Hope Christmas specials.
