Újezd u Chocně
Újezd u Chocně is a small municipality and village in the Ústí nad Orlicí District of the Pardubice Region in the Czech Republic. It covers 16.36 square kilometers and sits about 320 meters above sea level. As of January 1, 2025, it has around 343 inhabitants, with a density of about 21 people per square kilometer. The village lies roughly 18 km west of Ústí nad Orlicí, 28 km east of Pardubice, and 125 km east of Prague. The first written mention of Újezd u Chocně was in 1342. The municipality consists of three parts. The postal code is 565 01. The official website is www.ujezd-u-chocne.cz. In German it is known as Aujezd.
