HMS Coventry (1695) was a 50-gun fourth‑rate ship of the line of the English Royal Navy. It was one of five 50-gun ships ordered on 16 November 1693; three were to be built in Royal Dockyards and two by private contract. Coventry was built at Deptford Dockyard by Master Shipwright Fisher Harding and launched on 20 April 1695.

While escorting a convoy to Newfoundland, Coventry, commanded by Captain Henry Lawrence, was captured by French privateers Auguste and Jason about 200 miles southwest of the Isles of Scilly on 24 July 1704.

On 6 May 1709, the British ship Portland recaptured Coventry at Bastimentos near Puerto Bello, but Coventry was not returned to service and was broken up.
