Uhuru Stadium, called Uwanja wa Uhuru in Swahili, is a stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It sits next to the National Stadium in the Miburani area of Temeke District. The government owns it and it can hold about 23,000 people. The field is artificial turf. It was built in 1961.

In December 1961, Tanganyika's independence ceremony was held at the stadium, and the independence anniversary has been celebrated there every year since. The stadium has hosted the inaugural addresses of Tanzania's past presidents.

Julius Nyerere's funeral was held at the stadium on 21 October 1999. After his death, President John Magufuli lay in state there on 20 March 2021. A stampede at the stadium on 21 March 2021 killed 45 people.

Several football teams use the stadium, including Young Africans (Yanga), Simba, JKT Ruvu Stars, and Ruvu Shooting Stars.
