Champions of Change (COC) is an Indian award that honors people who promote Indian values such as community service, social development, healthcare, education, and national unity. Winners are selected by a constitutional jury led by K. G. Balakrishnan, former Chief Justice of India and former NHRC chairman, and Justice Gyan Sudha Misra, former Supreme Court judge. The awards are organized by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE), a government-recognized nonprofit focused on the welfare of women and children in rural India. The awards are given every year in four categories and come with a certificate and a gold medal. The event is usually hosted by senior Indian leaders. Nandan Jha founded Champions of Change and chairs IFIE.
