The Alliance for Serbia (Savez za Srbiju, SZS) was a broad opposition group in Serbia formed in 2018 by Dragan Đilas. It brought together parties from across the political spectrum, including the Democratic Party, Dveri, the People’s Party, the Party of Freedom and Justice, and other anti-government groups.

The alliance called for a short, technocratic transitional government to oversee fair elections and then new parliamentary elections. It supported protests against President Vučić, and after an attack on one of its leaders, Borko Stefanović, the group and other opposition parties pushed for reforms.

An expert group found that free and fair elections were not possible under the existing conditions, citing limited public dialogue and unequal access. They drafted a plan with six key demands and six supporting annexes.

On September 16, 2019, the alliance decided to boycott the upcoming parliamentary elections. In October 2019, it refused to participate in inter-party European Parliament–mediated talks, saying there wasn’t enough time to meet its demands before the election.

The Alliance for Serbia dissolved on August 10, 2020, and was followed by the formation of the United Opposition of Serbia. The group was described as a big-tent coalition with colors blue and red.
