Gartnait III

Gartnait III was a king of the Picts who ruled from 631 to 635. He was the son of Foith or Uuid. Different sources give different lengths for his reign: four years in the Pictish king lists, but five or eight in other records. The Annals of Ulster place his death in 637. After his death, his brother Bridei son of Uuid became king, and another brother, Talorc, ruled later after Bridei.
