Exit the Dragon
Exit the Dragon is the fifth studio album by American alternative rock band Urge Overkill, released on September 26, 1995. The 61-minute Geffen album was produced by the Butcher Bros. and marked a darker sound than their 1993 release Saturation. It would be their last album until 2011’s Rock & Roll Submarine. Exit the Dragon reached number 129 on the Billboard 200, making it the band's highest-charting US album. Critics had mixed views: The Los Angeles Times called the album’s pop tunes cheesy at times, like a dubbed karate movie, while The Chicago Tribune praised its understated performances, strong melodies, and moody lyrics.
