Magic Kid Masuri is a 2002 South Korean children's fantasy TV series that aired on KBS2. It stars Oh Seung-yoon, Yoon Young-ah, Kim Hee-jung, and Han Bo-bae. The show ran from February 18, 2002 to February 27, 2004 and has 496 episodes.
The story follows the Surine family of wizards who come to the human world to learn how people feel emotions like sadness, joy, happiness, and love. In their magical world, two councils—the Elder Council (White Bridge) and the Witch Council (Red Bridge)—fight, causing chaos. To understand humans, the elders send a wizard family to live among people who live together and rely on each other. The family must adapt as their magic world falls into disorder and they try to experience human emotions.
The drama averaged about 15% in audience ratings and was the longest-running children's drama on KBS2. A 2008 anime adaptation also aired on KBS2, but due to low ratings it ended early after 13 episodes instead of the planned 39.
