Gregory Adam "Greg" Hersov (born 4 May 1956) is a British theatre director. He studied at Bryanston School and Mansfield College, Oxford. He has worked with the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester since 1979 and became Artistic Director in 1987. At the Royal Exchange he directed many plays, including Shakespeare works, Death of a Salesman, The Entertainer, and Uncle Vanya. In 1999 he directed Look Back in Anger at the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre in London. His 2009 production of Shaw's Widowers' Houses was widely praised. He stepped down as artistic director in 2014. He has served on the board of trustees of the Talawa Theatre Company. In May 2019, he was announced as the director of Hamlet at the Young Vic, starring Cush Jumbo, his long-time collaborator.
