Edith Ross Mound is a Native American burial mound and archaeological site in southeastern Ohio, near Laurelville in Hocking County. The circular mound is about 40 feet (12 meters) across at the base and rises about 4.6 feet (1.4 meters) in the center. It is mainly earth with large stones on its surface. The mound has seen little disturbance since white settlement, aside from a small depression in the northwest corner that may come from digging.

Surrounding land has yielded many artifacts, and a row of stones on the western edge suggests there may have been a grave or wall. The burials and grave goods from the time of the mound’s construction are likely still buried inside, as no systematic excavation has been done. The builders and exact date are unknown, with possible candidates including the Adena, Hopewell, or Fort Ancient cultures, dating from about 1000 BC to AD 1000.

Edith Ross Mound was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 18, 1973. It covers about 0.1 acres and is one of four archaeological sites in Hocking County on the Register.
