Elantas
Elantas GmbH (stylized ELANTAS) is a German manufacturer of insulating materials for the electrical industry. It is headquartered in Wesel, Germany, and is wholly owned by Altana AG. The company operates through nine manufacturing companies in Europe, Asia, and South America. In August 2023, Altana announced it had acquired 84.3% of Swiss Von Roll Holding AG via Elantas; the deal was registered with the Federal Cartel Office on August 11, 2023 (B3-87/23) and approved on September 8, 2023. This acquisition contributed to a 28 percent increase in Elantas’ sales to €878 million in 2024, with 2,041 employees.
