Grant City is an unincorporated community in Wayne Township, Henry County, Indiana, United States. It was laid out in October 1868 and named for Ulysses S. Grant, who was a leading U.S. Army general and later the 18th president. The local post office was once called Snyder and operated from 1888 to 1901.
