Ed Sperber
Ed Sperber (Edwin George Sperber) was an American professional baseball outfielder. He was born January 21, 1895, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and batted and threw left-handed. Sperber played in Major League Baseball for two seasons with the Boston Braves, from 1924 to 1925. He made his MLB debut on April 16, 1924, and his final appearance on May 1, 1925. In his career, he had a .279 batting average, hit 1 home run, and had 12 runs batted in. He died January 5, 1976, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 80.
