Ray Fairfax

Raymond John Fairfax (born 14 November 1941) is a former English footballer who played as a defender. Born in Smethwick, England, he spent the bulk of his career with West Bromwich Albion, making 81 league appearances from 1962 to 1968. He then joined Northampton Town, where he played 116 times and scored 2 goals between 1968 and 1971. He also played for Wellingborough Town in 1971 and Olney Town in 1972. In total, Fairfax made 197 league appearances and scored 2 goals.
