Dortmund-Wickede station
Dortmund-Wickede station is in the Wickede district of Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has two platforms and is classified as a category 6 station by Deutsche Bahn.
History
- Opened on 26 May 1963 on the Welver–Sterkrade railway.
- The railway line was completed in 1876 and electrified on 25 May 1984.
Services
- Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S4: trains every 20 minutes, runs toward Unna in one direction and toward Dortmund-Lütgendortmund in the other.
- Dortmund Stadtbahn line U43: trains every 20 minutes; this station is the terminus for U43.
- Bus route R51: runs every 60 minutes, connecting Massen, Unna, Holzwickede, and Opherdicke.
- The station is on the Unna–Dortmund line (KBS 450.4) and is operated by DB Regio NRW.
