Hapoel Dror Haifa F.C.
Hapoel Dror Haifa Football Club, from Haifa, Israel, was founded in 1940 by Jewish immigrants from Thessaloniki. In its early years it played junior football. The club took part in the 1946 Palestine Cup, losing in the first two rounds to Maccabi Petah Tikva.
It joined the second division for the 1947–48 season, but that season was interrupted and abandoned because of the 1947–48 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine. When league play resumed, in 1949 the club rejoined in the second division, which was called Liga Meuhedet (Special League), and finished fourth in the North division.
The club continued in the second division, renamed Liga Bet in 1951, for two more seasons before folding after the 1953–54 season.
