ArenaBowl XXIII was played on August 20, 2010, at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena in Spokane, Washington. The Spokane Shock (National Conference champions) beat the Tampa Bay Storm (American Conference champions) 69–57 to win ArenaBowl XXIII and defend ArenaCup X from af2. It was the first non-neutral site for an ArenaBowl since 2004. Attendance was 11,017.

Spokane’s Kyle Rowley was named the game’s MVP, finishing 24 of 32 for 237 yards with nine touchdown passes (an ArenaBowl record) plus a rushing TD. Markee White had nine receptions for 99 yards and four touchdowns, Huey Whittaker added four receptions for 82 yards and four TDs, and Spokane’s defense intercepted two passes (Mervin Brookins and Travis Williams).

Tampa Bay’s Brett Dietz threw for 306 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions. Hank Edwards led receivers with 11 catches for 132 yards, Tyrone Timmons had eight receptions for 107 yards and a TD.

Game flow saw Spokane take an early lead, trailing only briefly, and pulling away after the third quarter to seal the victory. Coaches were Rob Keefe for Spokane and Tim Marcum for Tampa Bay. The game was broadcast live on NFL Network, with Eurosport 2 airing a tape-delayed version, and local radio coverage in Spokane and Tampa Bay.
