DesiHits is a New York-based media company that creates fusion entertainment for the South Asian diaspora across multiple platforms. It was founded in 2006 by Anjula Acharia-Bath, Ranj Bath, and Arun Sandhu.

The company has notable investors, including Jimmy Iovine of Interscope Records and Aviv Nevo, with an advisory board that features industry leaders like Charlie Walk, Roger Gold, Tony Kanal, Doug Scott, Steve Stoute, and Drew Lipscher. Anita Chatterjee serves as Editor-in-Chief.

In January 2008, DesiHits raised $5 million in venture funding from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, DE Shaw, and Trident Capital. Its website, DesiHits.in, became a leading online destination for Desi-flavored celebrity interviews, music videos, and radio podcasts, pulling about 10 million hits per month and attracting more traffic than MTVIndia.com.

DesiHits formed partnerships with major labels to produce original short-form videos that showcase mainstream artists exploring Desi culture through food, fashion, and Bollywood (Warner Music Group in November 2008 and Sony BMG in February 2009). The company also helped facilitate the AR Rahman–Pussycat Dolls remix of "Jai Ho."

It has created original content with big names such as AR Rahman, Sonu Niigaam, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Bally Sagoo, Jazzy B, Jay Sean, The Pussycat Dolls, 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, Wyclef Jean, T.I., Sean Paul, Sean Kingston, and others.
