Banksia rufa subsp. pumila
Banksia rufa subsp. pumila is a subspecies of Banksia rufa. It is endemic to the South West botanical province of Western Australia and is listed as Declared Rare (DEC).
It was previously named Dryandra ferruginea subsp. pumila. In 2007, botanists Austin Mast and Kevin Thiele moved all Dryandra species into Banksia. Because the name Banksia ferruginea was already in use, the subspecies received the new name Banksia rufa subsp. pumila.
