Raytron Technology, officially Yantai Raytron Technology Co., Ltd., is a Chinese semiconductor company based in Yantai. Founded in 2009, it makes infrared imaging sensors and MEMS sensors. The company went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on July 22, 2019, under the ticker 688002, after its IPO registration on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board took effect on June 18, 2019. Raytron was among the first batch of STAR Market listings and has backing from Shenzhen Capital Group and SDIC Unity Capital. In 2016 it became a joint-stock company, and by August 2020 it was part of the STAR 50 Index. Competitors include Guide Infrared and Dali Technology. In its 2019 IPO Raytron raised about 1.2 billion yuan. Revenue was 693 million yuan in the first half of 2020 and 870 million yuan in the first half of 2021.
