Decade in the Sun: Best of Stereophonics
Decade in the Sun: Best of Stereophonics is a greatest-hits album by the Welsh rock band Stereophonics, released on 10 November 2008. It collects songs from the band’s six studio albums, from their 1997 debut Word Gets Around up to 2007’s Pull the Pin, and adds two new tracks, “You’re My Star” and “My Own Worst Enemy.” “You’re My Star” was released as a single on 27 October 2008.

Decade in the Sun received generally favorable reviews. Critics praised it as a strong collection that should please longtime fans and newcomers, though some noted the omission of certain UK hits like “Madame Helga” and “Moviestar.”

- The album debuted at number 2 in the UK, with about 67,073 copies sold in the first week.
- It sold around 528,000 copies in 2008, ranking as the 13th best-selling album of the year in the UK.
- By 16 March 2013, it had sold 1,044,219 copies in the UK and spent 182 weeks in the top 100.
- All lyrics are by Kelly Jones, with the exception of “Handbags and Gladrags,” which was written by Mike d’Abo.

The release is available as a 20-track edition and a 40-track two-CD Deluxe edition, plus a DVD edition that contains all music videos, notable live performances, and additional footage.
