Society for Applied Philosophy
The Society for Applied Philosophy is a UK-based group founded in 1982 by Brenda Almond. It promotes studying and researching philosophy with real-world uses and aims to help solve real problems. To achieve this, the society runs workshops, conferences, and lectures. The Journal of Applied Philosophy is published for the society by Blackwell. In 2017, its president was Onora O'Neill.
