Davide Ghiotto
Davide Ghiotto (born 3 December 1993) is an Italian speed skater who competes mainly in long-distance events. He was born in Altavilla Vicentina, Italy, and is 186 cm tall and weighs 81 kg.
Career highlights
- Competed for Italy at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics, winning a bronze medal in the 10,000 metres at the 2022 Beijing Games.
- Became world champion in the 10,000 metres at the 2023 World Single Distances Speed Skating Championships in Heerenveen.
- Set a world record in the 10,000 metres on 25 January 2025 at the Olympic Oval in Calgary.
