Sigortaladim Sigorta and Reassurance
Sigortaladım Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş. is a Turkish digital insurance platform that helps people compare and buy policies online. Based in Istanbul, it serves all of Turkey and has about 1,500 employees. It was founded in 2015 by TDB Sigorta ve Brokerlik A.Ş. and launched its online platform in 2016 after receiving its license from the Turkish insurance regulator (SEDDK). The platform aggregates offers from many insurers and sells policies directly online, with a support call center. In 2019 it obtained licenses for reinsurance and life insurance. In 2022 it teamed up with the Turkish Ministry of Education to publish and distribute "Geleceği Koruyan Kahramanlar" (Heroes Saving The Future) to promote environmental awareness. The company is led by Erman Yerdelen (Chairman) and Matthias Johannes Rapp (Vice Chairman).
