Džoni Novak
Džoni Novak (born 4 September 1969 in Ljubljana) is a retired Slovenian footballer who played as a midfielder. He began his career with Olimpija in 1988 and also played for Partizan, Fenerbahçe, Le Havre, Sedan, SpVgg Unterhaching and Olympiacos, finishing his club career in 2003. In total, he made about 304 club appearances and scored 23 goals.
Internationally, Novak played for Yugoslavia U21 and earned four caps for the Yugoslavia national team. After Slovenia became independent, he earned 71 caps and scored 3 goals for the Slovenian national team. He played at Euro 2000 and the 2002 World Cup; his last international match was at the 2002 World Cup against Paraguay. He won the Slovenian league twice (1994 and 1995) and the Slovenian Cup in 1996 with Olimpija.
