Saldes

Saldes is a small municipality in the Berguedà comarca of Catalonia, Spain. It sits at the foot of the Pedraforca mountain (2,497 m). The area covers 66.4 square kilometers and the town is about 1,215 meters above sea level. As of January 2025, around 300 people live there. Lignite deposits are mined locally. Saldes is connected by road to Guardiola de Berguedà. The Sant Sebastià del Sull monastery is located in Saldes.
