Claudio Milar, full name Roberto Claudio Milar Decuadra, was a Uruguayan footballer born on 6 April 1974 in Chuy, Uruguay. He played as a striker and had a long career with many clubs in Uruguay, Brazil, Poland, Israel, and Tunisia, including Nacional, Danubio, Juventude, Santa Cruz, Náutico, Botafogo, Hapoel Kfar Saba, Club Africain, and Pogoń Szczecin.

He is best known for his time with Brasil de Pelotas, where he scored more than 100 goals in about 200 appearances. Milar returned to Brasil de Pelotas in 2009.

He died on 16 January 2009 in Canguçu, Brazil, at age 34, in a bus accident that also claimed teammate Régis and the goalkeeping coach Giovani Guimarães after they were returning from an exhibition match.

Brasil de Pelotas retired his number 7 shirt in his honor. A later match incident involved a rival player mimicking Milar’s goal celebrations, which angered fans and teammates.
