Wammerawa was an electoral district of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly in Australia. It was created in 1920 when proportional representation was introduced. The name comes from an alternate name for the Macquarie River. Wammerawa mostly replaced the districts of Mudgee, Castlereagh and Liverpool Plains and elected three members at once. In 1927, it was split back into Mudgee, Castlereagh and Liverpool Plains.
