Michael Flannery (bishop)
Michael Flannery (born 17 May 1818 in Scarriff; died 19 June 1891 in Paris) was an Irish Roman Catholic clergyman who served as the Bishop of Killaloe from 1859 until his death. He studied at St Patrick's Pontifical University, Maynooth, and began his priestly work with a curacy in Cloughjordan. He then served on the staff of All Hallows College, Dublin, from 1843 to 1858.
