Charitodoron agulhasensis is a rare sea snail in the miters family (Charitodoronidae). The shell is about an inch long, conch-like with looping ridges, and is usually white or brown. It lives in southern waters, especially around South Africa’s Agulhas Bay, and has also been found in Australia. The name comes from the Agulhas region, where it was first described in 1925 by Thiele. It has been known by other names, including Charitodoron aglaia and Columbella agulhasensis. Shells of this species are sometimes sold to collectors.
