Nottingham Forest 2003–04 season

Nottingham Forest played in the Football League First Division. The chairman was Nigel Doughty. The manager at the start was Paul Hart, who left on 7 February, and Joe Kinnear took over on 10 February. They played at the City Ground.

Season summary
- The squad was low on confidence and money at the start.
- Forest began well, winning five of their first seven games.
- After 15 games they had seven wins and five losses and were in the top half.
- They then hit a bad spell, going 14 games without a win and dropping into the bottom three.
- Doughty sacked Hart and appointed Kinnear, who improved the team and brought out the best in players like Michael Dawson and Andy Reid.
