Your Body Above Me
Your Body Above Me is the debut album by the band Black Lab. It was released on October 21, 1997, by Geffen Records. The music blends alternative rock and funk. The original album runs 51 minutes and 42 seconds, while the re-release is 59 minutes and 34 seconds long. The producer is David Bianco. The album produced two US radio hits: Wash It Away and Time Ago. There was a special three-sided vinyl version with the artwork printed on the fourth side, and it was released outside the US in January 1998. Black Lab left Geffen in 1999. In October 2006, lead singer Paul Durham announced a re-release called Your Body Above Me: The Director's Cut, featuring a different track list, two bonus tracks, and about two minutes of extra music not included on the original.
