Morro Negro is a hill on Boa Vista, Cape Verde. It rises 156 meters above sea level and is located near the island’s east coast. The nearest village, Cabeça dos Tarrafes, is about 5.5 kilometers to the northwest.

The hill is part of the Turtle Nature Reserve, which covers 14.39 square kilometers of land and 134.36 square kilometers of surrounding sea. The reserve protects beaches where sea turtles nest, as well as wetlands and salt lands for birds.

On top of the hill there is a lighthouse. Built around 1930, it is a white, quadrangular tower with a red lantern, attached to a one-story keeper’s house, about 12 meters tall. The light has a focal height of 163 meters, a range of 31 nautical miles, and flashes white every 20 seconds. It is powered by solar energy.
