Xira is a 2019 Nepali action movie written and directed by Ashutosh Raj Shrestha. The cast includes Namrata Shrestha, Anoop Bikram Shahi, Promod Agrahari, Srijana Regmi, Raymon Das Shrestha, Suzta Shrestha, and Samrat Magar. It was released on August 23, 2019, in Nepal and is in the Nepali language.

Critics were mixed. One reviewer from OnlineKhabar said the film has weaknesses in story and how it’s shown on screen, but from a feminist view it highlights women’s power to challenge patriarchal rules. A reviewer from The Kathmandu Post felt the movie is hard to like. Another from The Annapurna Express said it was promised as the first MMA-style Nepali film but fell short in many areas, and at 1 hour 35 minutes it isn’t worth watching.
