Butoku Dam
Butoku Dam is an earthfill dam in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. It was completed in 1929 and is used for irrigation. The dam is 21.5 meters high and 358 meters long. It creates a reservoir that holds about 2.75 million cubic meters of water and covers about 34 hectares when full. The catchment area feeding the dam is 11.3 square kilometers.
